RAPE IS NOT A JOKE

Let me narrate to you an interesting story. After many years of prayers and treatment, finally, a beautiful baby girl was born to an Indian family. The excitement to have their own baby after several years was out of this world. They cared for her like a princess, provided everything she needed, gave all the comfort she wanted in life, celebrated all her birthdays. Now stories are always entertaining only if some real drama happens. So on her 12th Birthday, her last birthday with her family where no one knew it was a life-changing moment for everyone. She got kidnapped. When she gained consciousness, her hands and feet were tied up, her mouth was wrapped with a cloth, she couldn't even scream as someone will come and bang her for making noise. A 12-year-old kid didn't know what was actually happening to her, surrounded with many psychic humans in a very dirty room. Some woman used to come to feed and to clean her. 

Can you guys imagine the mental stage of that child? Her parents might be still searching everywhere, they would have gone insane by now. Her virginity was sold to a big businessman who used her for many days till he literally got bored. His companions also used to join and use her as a toy. She felt numb and cried, where these people used to laugh at her tears and did whatever they wanted to do. She used to cry for hours, days and weeks, feeling hopeless and stranded. Her location kept on changing, new masters started training her on how to satisfy other men. And if she didn't obey, she gets thrown and beaten with belts. She no more had emotions, she felt like a robot who just kept on taking orders. She was brutally beaten and raped for almost 4 f**king years. Later on a group of police officers finally found her and took her to a rescue home. It took a while for the doctors to treat her, she spoke to a psychiatrist and attended classes. She was training herself to become a new woman of dignity and normalcy. She got to know that she can no longer bear a child due to multiple unsafe abortions. With the help of few police officers, her childhood address was found and came to know that her parents have already passed away. Her mom starved to death after she went missing and her father committed suicide soon after.

YES, this happened in India a few years ago. It is very common to hear stories like this in India. We can’t even imagine how many people get affected because of some ruthless people living in this world. For us, it is just a new story to be sorry for the moment and keep going. Yeah, obviously we can't do any shit in this world. According to the records, 24,923 rape cases were reported in 2012. Almost 68 girls are getting raped daily in India and this is just the reported ones. There are thousands of cases who are still afraid to tell their story or even complain. Either they suicide or they end up in a mental asylum, otherwise, the person should be really strong to handle these situations. 

Now she is working in a computer center as a teacher who loves her job and is truly happy. She really suffered a lot and still, didn't give up, as she knows its not her bloody mistake. She didn't give up on her spirit because of some idiotic humans in this world. This crowd needs to be severely punished in front of the public so that no human has the right and the shameful guts to do something like this, and this is each and everyone's responsibility. We all can criticize the country by reading the newspapers or watching the news channels. What is the point of saying that karma will take care when we don't do shit about it?
